A Memorial Tribute to Asbestos Workers.
2015-2022
The BADGES exhibit focuses on today’s Firefighters, Emergency Responders, and Caregivers addressing the public health toll taken from environmental Third Wave asbestos exposure today. Photo ID badges personalize the individuals who were unknowingly harmed by the mining, manufacturing, and use of asbestos The badges name the companies that harmed legions of workers beginning in the 1900’s up to the present time
PRESENTED: 2015-2019 at the Asbestos Disease Awareness Organizations annual conference in Washington, DC; the AFL-CIO Washington, DC Headquarters 2015; the Harvard Chan School of Public Health 2016, Boston; the University of Texas at Tyler 2016; and at Drexel University’s Rincliffe Gallery, in Philadelphia 2017-18.
